Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Ham
Tender slow-cooked ham glazed with a rich brown sugar coating that turns perfectly caramelized and juicy with every slice.
Ingredients
1 fully cooked spiral ham (6–8 lbs)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 cup pineapple juice
Instructions
Place the ham in a large slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, and pineapple juice.
Pour glaze over the ham, making sure it gets between the slices.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours.
Baste the ham with juices every hour if possible.
For extra caramelization, transfer ham to the oven and broil for 3–5 minutes after slow cooking.
